Our Story

The 7PBLHA was founded in 2011 by like minded colleagues who share a passion for history and an admiration of allied sacrifice during WWII. Some of our members are academically trained historians while others are entirely self taught. Many of our members have WWII veterans in their families and are motivated by a desire to keep their stories alive.

Located in the eastern United States, the founder of 7PBLHA attended several WWII living history displays as a spectator. He noticed lacking representation of Commonwealth forces. This was the inspiration behind selecting the 7th Parachute Bn (LI) for our impression.

Today, we attend events across the United States from large shows involving several thousand living historians to intimate displays for private groups. The only requirement we have is that it must serve one of our three founding principals: education, preservation, and remembrance.
